On a dental clinic website in Romania you write the services you provide, the hours, the address and, if you want, a price list of every service. You do not write “the best clinic” and you do not write a discount. At LOLOTECH, the presentation page for a clinic in Romania costs €500 + VAT, is delivered in 3–5 working days, and includes call, WhatsApp, a map, and a form. The list is on the websites page.
Where does the rule for the text on the site come from?
Decision no. 4/2CN of 30 May 2025 of the Romanian College of Dental Physicians adopts the Guide of good practice on advertising by dental physicians. It was published in the Official Gazette no. 529 of 6 June 2025 and has been in force since 1 July 2025. The guide, checked on 19 October 2026 on legislatie.just.ro, applies the code of ethics adopted by Decision no. 6/1AGN of 9 July 2021.
The lines below are a reading of that published text. They are not a ruling of the college on your clinic and they do not replace the Official Gazette. You check the wording before it is published.
The firm’s identification details, when you are an SRL, sit separately: what company details a website in Romania must show.
What can you write, in practice?
The guide, in the chapter on permitted content, limits advertising to objective information. The page can hold:
- the services you are authorised to provide
- the competences and specialties you actually hold on paper, not an invented title
- the academic titles you hold
- a short curriculum
- the name of the practice, the commercial name, the address
- the hours
- the phone number, WhatsApp, the email
- patient-education information
- photos of the clinic and of your own cases, on the conditions below
Conforming examples in the guide include “We offer the following services and procedures” and “Dental physician with 10 years of experience in the field.” “Specialist” is written only with the specialist dental-physician certificate issued by the Ministry of Health. A certificate of complementary studies, such as implantology, is not that title. The word “expert” is listed as forbidden.
On the websites page, the product is one page: Home, Services, About, questions, Contact. You send the text. A separate page for one service is quoted separately, when that service has its own questions: one page or several.
Can you put prices on the site?
Yes, on your own page, as a list of every service you provide. The guide, point 3.2, requires the list to be clear and the price of each service to be complete, with the additional costs.
“Prices starting from”, “at affordable prices”, and “the best price” are examples of forbidden content at point 3.3. A personalised cost estimate, discussed at a consultation, is among the guide’s conforming examples.
Can you announce a discount or a free consultation?
A discount can be given in the clinic. Advertising it cannot. The guide says that an announcement about discounts and other material advantages can mislead, because procedures differ from patient to patient, and it treats that announcement as forbidden.
Among the forbidden examples are “free”, “offer”, “promotion”, “discount”, “reduction”, “package”, “special rates”, and “Black Friday prices”. A free consultation can be offered in the clinic. It is not used as an announcement to attract patients.
Can you put before-and-after photos?
Yes, from your own cases, if you keep the patient’s dignity and anonymity and you have consent beforehand. The guide also allows photos of the clinic, of the equipment, and of the team at work.
Testimonials from your own patients can sit on the site if their text follows the same rules. The clinic answers for the sentence it copies.
A Google review is another channel. Asking for it follows Google’s rules, with no incentive and with no ask aimed only at the satisfied: how to get Google reviews.
Promises of a result stay off the text. The guide gives as forbidden examples “lifetime guarantee”, “perfect result”, “100% success”, “fixed teeth in 24 hours”, and “implant without cuts”.
How do you name the domain?
The site address cannot be made only of generic terms for the service. The examples in the guide are implantologbuzau.ro, stomatologdambovita.ro, and detartraj.ro. The same limit applies to an email address formed exclusively of such terms.
In the €500 + VAT, the domain and SSL are included at delivery, in your name. After handover, the page and the domain stay yours. Care, €29/month, is optional.
Is online booking on the same page?
No. On the page are the call, WhatsApp, and the form. Booking in which the patient picks the slot is quoted separately. Market ranges for the presentation page, not for a calendar, are in how much a presentation website costs in Romania.
€500 + VAT, once. 50% in advance, 50% on delivery. 3–5 working days after the advance and after your details, address, and photos. One revision round is included. A shop, online booking, studio photography, and branding from scratch are not on the list. A position in Google and a mention in ChatGPT are not sold with the page.
