For a one-page presentation site for a clinic, a professional office, or a trade in Romania, maintenance is optional. At LOLOTECH, Care costs €29 a month: hosting, updates, monitoring, and small text or photo edits, capped at 30 minutes. Without Care, you still own the site and the domain. The page itself costs €500 + VAT, once. The list is on the websites page.
What do you get for €29 a month in Romania?
Care is the monthly upkeep of the presentation page. The €29 covers hosting, updates, monitoring, and small text or photo edits, at most 30 minutes a month. After delivery you receive ownership of the code and of the hosting. The domain stays yours. You can stop Care and remain the owner.
Outside the €29 sit online booking, a shop, accounts, branding from scratch, and studio photography. Those are quoted separately. A position in Google and a mention in ChatGPT stay outside the price. Building the page, €500 + VAT, once, delivered in 3–5 working days, is on the websites page. The build ranges, not the maintenance ranges, are in how much a presentation website costs in Romania.
What do public offers in Romania charge for website maintenance?
There is no official tariff. The figures below are public offers, with the date they were written.
MAST Studio’s guide, published on 9 September 2026 and updated on 2 October 2026, puts maintenance in Romania, as a guide, like this:
- €20–€50 a month for updates and backups
- €50–€120 a month when periodic checks and small content edits are included
- over €150 a month for a priority response and more hours of work
- about €20–€40 an hour, if you pay only when you ask for something
The same page says hosting and the domain are usually paid separately, about €50–€120 a year, and that their own maintenance starts at €90 a month.
The OutlinePixel page, checked on 15 October 2026, shows no publication date. The ranges there are in lei:
- a one-off job: 150–400 lei per request
- minimum maintenance: 100–250 lei a month, for a simple presentation site
- standard maintenance: 250–500 lei a month
- an online shop: 400–900 lei a month
OutlinePixel writes that hosting is usually outside the package. The lei stay in lei. Their page does not give an exchange rate.
On Care, hosting is inside the €29. At MAST, hosting is written separately, and their package starts at €90 a month. At OutlinePixel, 100–250 lei a month is the minimum for a presentation site, again with hosting outside, according to the text on the page. For a clinic or a trade, you read the list, then you compare.
Why does a figure of €12 a year show up?
At the RoTLD registry, the prices page checked on 15 October 2026 calls domain renewal “the annual maintenance service” and sets it at €12 + VAT a year. The same tariff applies to registration and to transferring the right of use. A firm in Romania pays in lei, at the National Bank rate on the invoice date. That line on the invoice is the right to use the domain name. Hosting, a changed set of hours, or a new photo sit on another invoice.
Registrar partners often sell below the registry tariff. Their promotions change, so this page does not copy a registrar price. The domain in the €500 + VAT package stays in your name. The yearly renewal invoice stays with the registrar.
Can I skip a monthly maintenance fee?
Yes. Care is optional. €500 + VAT is the price of the page, once: 50% in advance, 50% on delivery, in 3–5 working days after the advance and after your details, address, and photos. Without a monthly plan, the code, the hosting that was handed over, and the domain stay yours.
The work inside Care remains, if you do it or you give it to someone else: updates, a check that the form still sends, and the text when the phone number or the hours change. The 30-minute cap in Care is for small edits. A new page, a shop, or online booking is a different project.
Is a website-builder subscription maintenance?
A builder subscription pays for the right to keep the page on their platform. If you stop the plan, you lose the place where the site sits. Care is monthly upkeep for a page you already own, and stopping it leaves you the owner of the code and of the domain.
The difference between rent and a site that is handed over is in an AI website builder versus a developer-built site. Wix, Squarespace, and WordPress.com prices, checked on 24 September 2026, are in the best website builder for a small business.
Does maintenance bring customers?
The call comes from the facts on the page: the services, the area, the hours, and the phone number, written in text, the same as on the Google profile. Care keeps the page on hosting, with updates and with the right to one small edit a month. A position in Google and a mention in ChatGPT stay outside the €29.
