In September 2026, a small-business presentation website takes anywhere from a few days to several months, depending on how many pages you buy and whether the copy and photos are ready. Elementor’s guide of 29 June 2026 puts a 1–5 page brochure site at 1–3 days DIY and 1–2 weeks with a professional; a 5–15 page small-business site at 4–8 weeks professionally. At LOLOTECH, a one-page presentation site is delivered in 3–5 working days, after the deposit and after I have your details, address and photos.
The offer is on the websites page. Price, not only the clock: how much a small-business website costs in 2026.
How long does it actually take, by type of site?
US figures, Romanian commercial guides and the Clutch average are not the same product. Keep them apart.
On Elementor’s guide (29 June 2026): a simple 1–5 page site — 1–3 days with a builder, 1–2 weeks with a professional. A small-business site, 5–15 pages, blog and forms — 1–2 weeks DIY, 4–8 weeks professionally. A shop, 10–100 products: 3–6 weeks DIY, 8–16 weeks professionally. A custom platform: 4–6 months or more. Elementor notes that the first cause of delay is missing content (copy and images); the second is scope that grows mid-project.
On Clutch’s pricing guide, updated 2 September 2026: most reviewed web design projects on the platform typically last 7 months. That average is pulled up by long, complex projects, not by a plumber’s one-pager. It is not a clinic’s timeline.
In Romania, Digital Rocket’s guide of 3 April 2026, written by an agency, places the local market here: a landing page (one page) at 1–2 weeks; a 3–7 page presentation site at 2–4 weeks; a premium presentation site at 4–8 weeks; a WooCommerce shop at 4–8 weeks; an app / SaaS at 3–6 months. Those are commercial-guide ranges, not a census.
None of these sources tell you how long your site “should” take. They say what is quoted, on which kind of project, in 2026.
Why do some quotes say three days and others seven months?
You are not buying “a website”. You are buying a bundle of work. The clock grows when any of these grow:
- Number of pages. One page with Home, Services, About, questions and Contact is one product. Five empty pages plus a shop is another.
- How much is written from scratch. If you give me services, area, hours and photos, the clock starts. If we wait for a slogan, the clock stops.
- Who does the work. An AI builder can spit out a layout in minutes. You still own the copy, the phone number, the hours and the rent. The comparison is in AI website builder vs a developer-built site.
- Who signs off. Three partners who answer once a week add three weeks, no matter how fast the developer is.
- Features you will not use. Shop, online booking, accounts. They are out of the presentation package. They are quoted separately, so you do not pay for them “by default”.
A one-line deadline, with no scope and no statement of when the days start counting, is a warning — short or long.
How long until Google or ChatGPT finds me?
Do not mix three clocks.
The delivery clock is the site’s: working days until it is on your domain, with a call button on mobile.
The indexing clock is Google’s. Search Central does not publish a guaranteed delay. You can request indexing in Search Console after launch; discovery can take from days to longer, depending on how new the domain is and whether the page is readable. Indexing is not a ranking.
The citation clock — Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity — is another. Nobody serious sells a date on which a chat mentions you. Answer engines read text. If the page is generic, slow, or has no address, they have nothing to extract. The rules, without jargon: local business website, Google AI and ChatGPT.
BrightLocal’s decision-speed study, published 24 June 2026 (1,227 US adults who had searched for a local business in the last three months), finds that 75% decide in under 30 minutes, and 28% in under five. 72% look at three businesses or fewer. The same research recommends a website, “even if it’s just one page”. The customer is not waiting for an eight-week redesign. They need a phone number, an area and hours, now, on a phone.
Part two of the same programme, published 9 July 2026, puts 73% of local searches on a mobile phone. 23% used an AI tool in their most recent search; among people already using AI for local recommendations, only 18% felt ready to contact the recommended firm without checking. The site has to confirm, in seconds, what the chat or the Google listing said. Google Search Central’s Core Web Vitals guidance (checked in September 2026) keeps a “good” LCP at 2.5 seconds or less. A page delivered yesterday, but heavy on 4G, misses the five-minute window.
I will not promise position 1 in Google, and I will not promise that ChatGPT will cite you. The deadline buys a site you own, ready to be read. Visibility remains a matter of true content, the Google profile and reviews.
What can I do so the deadline stays short?
My clock starts after the deposit and after your details. To keep it moving:
- Legal name, address, phone, WhatsApp, hours, area — the same as on Google Maps.
- A list of services, not a slogan. What you do, what you do not.
- Real photos, if you have them. Without them, the page can still go live; without a phone number, it cannot.
- One person who signs off, not a committee.
- No shop, booking, or branding from scratch in the same order.
If you only want to test a business name this week, an AI builder is faster than a developer. If you want an asset on your domain, the useful speed is “how soon do I have a citable page”, not “how soon do I have a layout”.
How long does a LOLOTECH presentation website take, exactly?
3–5 working days, after a 50% deposit and after I have your details, address and photos. €500 + VAT, once. You keep the domain.
Included: one page (Home, Services, About, questions, Contact), call/WhatsApp, Google Maps, a contact form, SEO metadata, Search Console, domain + SSL, a privacy policy, one revision round. Not included: a shop, online booking, accounts, studio photography, branding from scratch. An extra language, extra revision rounds and copy from zero are quoted separately.
Care, €29/month, is optional. Without it, the site is still yours.
If the current page is an abandoned builder, a 2014 file, or a template with the wrong phone number, a new site on your domain is usually cheaper — in money and in weeks — than another year in which clients decide in five minutes and cannot read you. See what a presentation website includes and ask for a concept on your firm.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to build a small-business website in 2026?
It depends on scope. Per Elementor’s guide of 29 June 2026, a 1–5 page brochure site takes 1–3 days DIY or 1–2 weeks with a professional; 5–15 pages, 4–8 weeks professionally. Clutch (2 September 2026) puts most reviewed projects at 7 months — an average pulled by complex work. In Romania, Digital Rocket’s guide of 3 April 2026 places one page at 1–2 weeks and a 3–7 page presentation site at 2–4 weeks. At LOLOTECH, a presentation page is delivered in 3–5 working days.
How long does a one-page presentation website take?
Here: 3–5 working days after the deposit and after your details, address and photos. €500 + VAT. It is not a shop and it is not a seven-month agency project.
Why do some quotes say seven months?
Because they are measuring something else. Clutch’s September 2026 average includes long projects. A clinic or a trade usually needs a fast page, on mobile, with contact and facts — not a platform.
How long until the site appears in Google or ChatGPT?
Google does not publish a guaranteed indexing delay. Search Console helps discovery; it does not sell a position. Nobody serious sells a date on which ChatGPT cites you. A site delivered quickly, with clear copy, is the condition. It is not the result.
Can I have a site this weekend, with an AI builder?
Yes, a layout. Rarely an asset: you remain a tenant, the copy is often generic. If you live on calls, a page on your domain, delivered in working days, is the right product.
Write to me at contact@lolotech.io or start from the websites page. No purchase obligation. You get a concept on your firm, not a one-line deadline.
